J.K. Rowling announced today that her 2008 book, Tales of Beedle the Bard would be available as an ebook. 40% of sales will be given to Lumos Foundation, a charity founded by J.K. Rowling, in which she explains in the second video, and in quotes below.

These institutes are incapable of adequately caring for children, robbing them of their childhoods and their institutions, [...] Lumos works to transform systems of caring for children, closing institutions, reunited families, and preventing other children from being institutionalized at all.
