The Hunger Games’ lead actress, Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss), spoke out about the Mockingjay movie split at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Lawrence said that she was hesitant until she heard about how much money she would be paid [jokingly];
“You want everything in there, but you don’t have enough room, and you’re trying to decide what’s going to get cut and what isn’t. So it was a relief on the last one to know that we don’t really have to cut anything. We have enough time, we have enough room to really tell this story to the fullest, and we don’t need to cut anything. The final film in the Hunger Games trilogy will be split into two parts, with a year between each part. However, we still need to wait over a year until Catching Fire (the second film in the series), which premieres on November 22nd, 2013. Mockingjay Part 1 will be premiered on November 21st, 2014; Part 2 on November 20th,2015.
What do you think of Jennifer’s comments?
