Iran: Plotting Against The U.S. Once Again

Earlier in the week, officers of the NYPD arrested several Iranian suspects over espionage suspicions. (Image via VisitingDC)

NYPD police officers have arrested 14 Iranian “tourists” after they were under heavy suspicion for constantly photographing national U.S. monuments such as the Empire State Building, One World Trade Center and the Chrysler Building to name a few. All 14 have been released, as of March 26th,  with the cost of more U.S. political suspicion on Iran. The U.S. government has suspected for the past 2 years, that Iran would use a special operations/extremist group called “ Hezbollah” to conduct espionage and attacks to the U.S..

The NYPD have increased their patrol rates in order to prevent terror acts. Even though there haven’t  been any threats to the U.S., The U.S. Department Of Home Security has asked some New York citizens to report any suspicious individuals to the nearest Police Department.  Even some American Politicians are conceived to believe that this is a precourser to an Iranian terror plot, or even war. As tensions arise between the U.S. and Iran, the Iranian government refuse to admit that they are performing espionage activities on American soil,  but still admits that their mining rate of Uranium continues to rise at a steady rate.

So, what are your thoughts? Will Iranian espionage on American Soil drive the populace to the point of paranoia? Or will the U.S. government step in and provide diplomatic solutions to the political tensions?
